Blake planned this campout to complete the Camping Merit Badge. As you can see there is hardly any snow. There was just enough snow on the trails to get us in the 6 miles to the South Fork area of Mink Creek. The wind was blowing and is was cold as we headed out at 5:00 p.m.
The sleds are unloaded, the sleigh is hooked up we are ready to go.

About 15 minutes down the trail and the sun is starting to go down.
The tent is pitched, dinner is on.
Mom giving us a little chew an show. We had Ramen noodle and chicken. It was actually very good.

The pull handle on one of the sleds came off, Blake and I toed it back to the enclosed trailer. It was a fun night ride. We were back in an hour with the other sled. We will need to take this in to the shop.
We came back and went to bed about 8:00 p.m. It was a cold night. Jordin woke up about 2:00 a.m. and said "I am sick to death of this cold Sleeping bag". SHe got in with Terri and so Terri didn't get anymore sleep. For some reason the snow is getting harder every time I sleep on it.
Here we are at 6:30 a.m. Rise and shine! Only this morning we woke up to a blizzard.
Here I am after a good laugh with the family.
The pictures did not turn out that were taken in the near white out... So we put the camera away. Terri yells out "Let's let Elmer's cook our breakfast"! SO, we slowly loaded everything that was snow covered and getting wet up and headed for the trailer.
This picture does not give the storm enough credit. It was very windy with the snow blowing sideways. We loaded up and went home. We did have a good morning, we were home by 8:45 a.m. and everything layed out and drying by 9 and we were out to breakfast eating at 10:30 a.m. We did have a fun day. We added a Movie, a 5th Wheel, a piano recital to the day and in bed by 9:00 p.m. With the time change the next morning it made it actually 10 p.m.

Brrrr!!!!! That looks cold! Sure looks like fun though; it makes me excited for Memorial Weekend! Hope Madison can stay put long enough!:)
Brrr... I'm freessseeeing(as Kevo says it!) just looking at the pictures. I can't imagine anyone being cold packed like sardines in the little tent. Miss ya! XOXO1
