The Denver trip this year was a lot different then most, we accomplished a lot and did a lot of different things. We left Friday evening about 5 and arrived at about 2:30 in the morning. Dave and I replaced the steps down off of the deck, and all of the boys helped and we replaced the rough cut fence on the south side of the house. Dad purchased a newer van, the girls hiked Dinosaur ridge, went shopping with little success, got home and had the 30% off Kohls coupon in the mail. Had a great visit. Jessi and Elana were there. Terri, Tessa and the kids cleaned their home while we were out purchasing the van so we left them in good shape for the next few months. Dillon baby sat Duke. Just a good 6 days. The "cousins" from here played with the cousins or Davids Grand kids. The weather was the best. Another good point to make is that we all ate dinner every night together and that gave us a lot of good meeting time. Each of the Brothers took time off of work to be together which made it even nicer. Dad generated some family history but did not give us his or moms life experiences as we had asked for. It did make me want to find my Great Aunt Mable's cassette tape where she shared some of her experiences. Uncle Grant even came over and shared some of his, I am going to try and get them put on a CD.
