The 4 of us went to the Shed today. It was 38 degrees out side. It was pretty greasy around with teh skiff of snow they received earlier in the week. We hauled the extra wood out of the cabin and put it in the trailer with the big generator. and extra fuel. We also hauled the wood from underneath the Shed down to the fire pit. Blake and I did this while Mom and Jord re-arranged some thing in the cabin and set up the household things we brought up for the winter for winter use. It was awesome as Blake and I came back to the Shed from the wood haul we looked up on the hillside and there was a mother moose and her calf. I had binocs and a range finder so, we scoped them out at 227 yards. The camera shows the normal view form the Shed but the zoom really picked them up. It was a fun day we were going to spend the night but just after we got in bed the wind started to howl and the forecast said that we were to get 3 or so inches of snow so we did not want to be snowed in for Sunday and loaded up and came home at midnight. The kids remarked how much fun it was. We did play several hours of games.
