I took my optional Holiday off from work Friday so Mother and I went up to the cabin. We cut and watered the lawn in the common area. It is starting to look very nice and greening up. I spread grass seed, put down weed killer and fertilized. I mowed a total of about 4 hours but the grass was about 2 ft tall or more in some areas. We set up a pump about 8 gpm out of the creek. From the first pic on here you can see the cabin stairs need stained. On this trip, we hooked up the water to the cabin off of the tank you can see in the first pic. We installed the ceiling fan which made big difference cooling the place down at night. We stained the kitchen cabinet, moved the wood pile and hung the door bell. JD and fam came up and spent a few hours with us and enjoyed the evening Friday night. Tyrel and his fam came up for a Razor ride Sat about noon. One of the pics I have here is of Terri cooking our dinner on the hot plate. I have read pros and cons on this but it was a go this round. Steak and corn on the cob with salads. The pic of Duke... he spent hours pulling boards out from under the cabin trying to get the lizards. It completely wore him out.
