Vacation to CH and the BR June 27th - July4th

Words will come later, it is late but I wanted the pics in. It takes a little time for this old man to get things done.. The first 3 days of this week we went to Cherry Hill outside of Layton. It is a lot of fun for kids up to about 15 years old. Or ... older people such as myself. A lot of moms and little kids here but it is a fun place to relax and enjoy the Lazy River.Lucy was a lot of fun on this trip. We were waiting for the rest of her fam to show up a few hours from now.
Enjoying lunch of day one together.
Lucy asked if she could go chase birds and ran through the camp ground after them... It was funny watching her because in every vacant camp spot the grounds keeper had water running.
Lucy got a few drops on her and started copping a tude.
Lucy enjoyed the pirate ship. She kept wanting to go back and climb the stairs to the helm.

Grandma and Lucy sharing the view.
Here is mom making sure dad doesn't hurt Lucy.
Jordin enjoying the cool water in the kiddie pool.

Here is the start. Look at the disgust on the Life Guards face. Yep this isn't a ride for fat old men.
Lucy enjoyed watching Grampa come down the slde. She laughed and laughed.

Wednesday morning Dillon cooked breakfast for all of us.

I was fortunate to be able to hold Samuel during the morning when he felt so good to hold and acted like he wanted me to hold him... Of course he had just been fed and had his diaper changed.
Enjoying the Lazy River..
Taking a break from the water sports.
Can't take too many pics of this.
Dillon and his self shot pic.

We all enjoyed the ride down this. Tessa did capture a video clip of Dillon hitting me with his tube and dumping me out on all fours trying to grab my hat in two feet of water in front of a 14 year old life guard.
It was refreshing... It started to get a little chilly from a rain cloud that came over so we hit the ride a lot in that hour. The weak at heart ran for cover and some ran for home.
The last night there, Jordin had complained about not making smores. So since you cannot have a fire in camp we did the next best thing. Roasting shmellas over a Camp Chef.
This next trip was a blast look at the beauty! This was at the Cut Throat Trout camp ground. It was very nice. We were here from Thursday morning after taking care of the chores and picking up Blake from Youth Conference.

Lunch on the first day.
The breeze was cool enough that you almost needed a sweatshirt on for Thursday and Friday.
Not sure what happened here? Maybe lack of oxygen??
Jordin was able to really ride the 4 wheeler and do a pretty good job at it.
Blake as well.
We played a least 2 to 3 games per day of something. I promised myself that I would as my own goal of not liking games.
Look at mom's face. Blake is trying to show mom a trick of hiding the chip. Mom was getting it just fine. Blake was trying to copy the Robin Hood show.
The daily shower. With leaving the jug in the sun the water was near 98 degrees and made showering very nice.
Blake moved up into some of my old dirt biking gear.
Tess, Luc and Ty came up Sunday after church.
We also celebrated the birthday of the princess. It was fun.
Blake loves to hold the babies. It turns 15 years old in a about 6 days.
Kids floating the river..

It was a successful ride.
Blow this pic up to see them in the water. I took this from the top of the ridge.

Playing Bocchy ball.
